Why we came to Kumamoto for 5 weeks

1. Grandpa Minoru

Hiroki stands with Michiyo's Dad at the Kumamoto Undo-koen (Sports Park) among the gorgeous golden leaves still up in this mild December

2. Aunt Masae

Michiyo's sister is LOVING extended time with her niece and nephew, and they are loving their aunt right back.

3. Good times together in Japan for Amane's first time (and Hiroki's THIRD!!!)

4. Grandma Chieko

When Chieko is around, the kids have crowns on their heads--they are the king and queen.

5. Grandpa Minoru again.

Amane took about a week to warm to Michiyo's Dad, but now she lights up when she sees him.
